• Maximum Working Pressure: 232 PSI
• Working Temperature: 1.5 to 80 °C
• Nominal Pressure Drop: 0.45 PSI
• CRN
• Port: 3/4 (F) NPT
• Flow: 232 SCFM
• Weight: 3.99 kg
• Dimensions: A: 130 mm, B: 285 mm, C: 43 mm, D: 135 mm, E: 44 mm
Material(s):
• Housing: Chromatised Aluminum housing
• Vortex Generator and Cyclone Arrestor: Polypropylene
• Ideal as a first step treatment between the compressor and air receiver tank
• Cost-effective way of ensuring that bulk water is removed from compressed air
• Uses centrifugal force to remove up to 99% of bulk water
• Simple and easy to install
• Requires no electricity and almost no maintenance
• Efficient automatic drain
• Powder coated
• CRN and CE approved
• Compressed air is normally saturated with moisture in the form of water vapor as well as aerosol, in addition to all of the other contaminants in the air. This water needs to be removed to prevent problems at the point of use.
• AIRFLO water separators use centrifugal separation to remove up to 99% of the water aerosol in compressed air.
• Working in conjunction with other products like filters, after-coolers and dryers, the AIRFLO water separators are a cost effective solution to ensure that bulk water generated in the compressed air is properly separated and discharged from the system.
HOW IT WORKS
Centrifugal force pushes liquid water out of compressed air
The spinning causes liquid to concentrate on the separator walls and, when the condensate gains enough mass, it falls to the bottom of the separator bowl where it is flushed out of the system by the automatic drain
A) Water separator
B) Vortex Generator – Vane: Aerodynamically designed vortex generator vanes for greater efficiency
C) Vortex Generator – Cone: Conical profile for enhanced vortex effect
D) Cyclone Arrestor: Special profile designed to improve separator efficiency and prevent re-entrainment of separated water
E) Automatic Condensate Drain: Efficiently discharge accumulated water from the system
INSTALLATION TIP
Typically installed upstream of after-coolers, air receiver tanks, refrigerated dryers and at a strategic point in pipe works installation
• Recommended for all compressed air installations
• An excellent way to achieve primary reduction of the moisture content
