• Instant ON/OFF
• Stainless Steel construction
• Input air flows of 10, 15, 25 and 35 SCFM
• Provides one stream of cooled air and one of heated air from standard shop air
• Air flow and temperature are easily controlled by the knob
• No moving parts, portable, lightweight, and low cost, cools without waste
• Uses no electricity, freon or chemicals
• No spark hazard
• Convenient, safe, easy to use
• No residue to clean up, no parts washing needed
• Reliable, maintenance-free
HOW IT WORKS
A VORTEX TUBE is an instrument with no moving parts that converts a supply of filtered compressed air at 80-100 PSI into two air streams: one hot and one cold
The cold air exhaust from a VORTEX TUBE can deliver up to 2500 Btu/H of cooling and temperatures to -40 °C without freon, electricity or moving parts
The hot air exhaust from a VORTEX TUBE can deliver temperatures up to 230°F (110 °C)
• Cooling manufacturing processes: machining plastics or metals, wood-working, soldering, adhesive applications, heat sealing, sewing needles, mold tooling and many others
• Generate hot air to 230 °F (110 °C), without a spark or explosion hazard to soften plastic, melt glues and seal packaging
